Three ways to get around privately

Private transfers and private tours

The simplest option: a driver meets you at the airport, and sightseeing is done with your own guide or driver. Examples from Kafu:

Luxury stays and Business Class

Private trip or group tour?

A private trip gives you full control over dates, pace and hotels. A group tour has fixed dates and a set itinerary, and every Kafu fixed-departure group tour to Europe travels with an Arabic-speaking tour leader. When to go

  • Finnish Lapland: the Northern Lights season runs from autumn to early spring, which is why Kafu's Lapland packages run in November.

  • The Alps (Switzerland and Austria): summer is the classic season for lakes, mountain trains and self-drive routes.

  • Norway's fjords: the summer months suit a self-drive trip, with long daylight hours.
